This is the second volume of “A Comprehensive Study of the Bible”, originally released as lecture notes for “Through the Bible in a Year”. The Historical Books are: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 & 2 Samuel, 1 & 2 Kings, 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther.
As you’ll see throughout, there are summary charts or outlines of each book. How they are handled and displayed on a small phone or even a mini tablet is going to make certain folks happy and others not so much. Some of these outlines are detailed and are going to be very hard to read on a small screen even with zooming and panning. Consequently, we are providing the outline graphics as a freely downloadable PDF that you can print or view however you wish to augment your study of the Bible.

I am starting immediately on Volume 3, The Poetic Books. Prayerfully, this volume will be out much quicker than Volume 2. Things are a bit crazy with a lot of “life stuff” going on here in Renshaw-land. Thankfully, God is sovereign, large and in charge and works all things to good… to those that love Him. Focusing on that and living in faith relying on Him will get the “life stuff” dealt with and the next volume published.
