New by Dr. Greg Bahnsen

Several decades ago circumstances arose whereby Dr. Bahnsen and Dr. Morecraft taught a seminary course on Hermeneutics. This well-worn book (see picture to the right) was a happy discovery while working through boxes of materials from Pastor Morecraft’s office. I’d not seen or heard of this as it was printed for use by the seminary students for which it was compiled, but to my knowledge not reproduced since then. Pastor Morecraft’s portion has already been published here as, “How to Study the Bible Biblically.”

Now exclusively available here on Comprehensive Christianity is the second half of the course materials by Dr. Bahnsen, “Lectures on Hermeneutics,” where he addresses the Starting Point, the Goal and the Activity of Hermeneutics. Also included is "A Reformed Confession Regarding Hermeneutics," by Dr. Bahnsen.
